A few genuine questions... Does any country except Israel have the right to defend itself? Why have you not learned to abhor a holocaust after learning about your own ? How do you feel about what children will learn about you and other genocide enablers in history classes not too long from now?

Well, though I think there's no such thing as cheap fabric (if we don't pay for it financially we're likely paying environmentally) I am team toile for first time makes. I try to use old sheets or tablecloths, and if possible make it wearable!

Great list. I'm also learning garment making, and starting to buy real books again. Can I recommend community food growing groups? The pooling of knowledge and encouragement in these groups is priceless.

It is SO grim. I'm walking more, reading more, have a daily time limit on social media, and I'm learning to sew clothes. Using your hands to make anything is a great stress reliever.
