02.12.2025 22:48 — 👍 655 🔁 175 💬 25 📌 4The US “peace” plan not only had Ukraine giving up land—including some Russia hasn’t been able to take—it also demanded a weakened Ukraine that can’t decide its own foreign relations and isn’t allowed real outside support, leaving it vulnerable for whenever Russia regroups.
Who would accept that.
Ukraine already tried giving up land for Russia’s word to stop attacking, with the Minsk Agreements of 2014-15. Russia violated them with a full scale invasion in 2022.
Why would Ukraine think land for peace would work this time, especially when a Putin-sympathetic US won’t do security guarantees?
Well, they might not have brought peace with Ukraine, but at least they are now also talking about war with Europe, so we are going forward

Only through judicial review was that prevented. Once this legislation goes through, the only option left to communities will be direct action.
