fwiw when I played the beta of Tokon I was really impressed and I'm not an FGC lad.
I hope there's some campaigns or something single player because I'd like to play more - it looks and feels great to me.

It is odd that it detects cats and not people, it's just movement based so unless your postie is a ninja... I'm sure there's tons of people online who'll have had similar issues resolved, I wish I could help.

Only as much as any failure in any game can though honestly, I just guess this needs a little more patience or is more telegraphed in terms of how you're failing vs other games.

The core of the game is basically a board game, and like any drafting game you have many ways to minimise the issues, but it takes a little time to learn it.
