I think you may have guessed that I’m not a fan of Starmer! He’s made, imho, some poor economic choices for 🇬🇧. However, his apology regarding Mandelson sounded sincere.
He also answered questions in Parliament, direct not deflecting.

Morning all.

Not working today so I've had a lie, in which was nice.

Politicians and the media have turned into a continuous rage bait machine.

It's exhausting, and a waste of time and energy when the country is a huge mess and needs decades to sort out.

What we need more than anything is stability.

The media are simply opportunists. Any leverage to ‘kick’ Starmer. But it’s all in print. Or in a tweet. And that’s true for all of us.

Unconvinced. Starmer would have known Mandelson was in the same social orbit as Trump and thus likely to have good access to the President. Power and influence rate more highly in politics than abused women. Sadly.
