Surrey has cut elementary band. People once moved here because of strong public programs. Now they’re being gutted.

I saw this study and few years ago & did an audit of the pic book collection at Morgan. Our results were close. I’ve made a concentrated effort to purchase books featuring characters who are Indigenous, Asian, other POC, neurodiverse, and Immigrants, authored by own voice.
