Networks and services owning and controlling our ability to communicate with each other is something I stress over. This exact situation freaks me out about our reliance on them to contact each other.

It makes me wonder what alternatives could be fostered by the community.

You are *not* an afterthought when you're literally one of the people I'm most excited to see soon. Being on telegram is not necessary to be a member of the community, to be loved by your friends.

But I can understand the emotion and pain. I can understand it. Perhaps our reliance on tg is... bad.

I've been wanting to compile a list of songs that describes my sort of life this year and how much things have changed

It's difficult, but I'm close to completing it. Maybe I should get back into music production myself, soon... there's too much inspiration around me.

Apparently though, I've become utterly addicted to TUNIC's OST this year. And it makes sense. That game... Was phenomenal. Close to a masterpiece. The OST leaves nothing to be desired. It has such a command of the atmosphere of the game, the meaning of the visuals on the screen... Inspirational.

While Seekers of the Storm was a bit rough on the game side, Chris Christodoulou put their goddamn soul into that OST and it shows. Fucking gorgeous.

Honorable mentions to SMILE! :D, Seekers of the Storm OST, and Love Heart Cheat Code. It's a bit unfair to compare LHCC to Mood Valiant (which was my personal #1 album of 2021), but my brain can't not do that.

There were too many good albums this year.
