At-home HPV test kits to be offered to thousands of women in England The home tests will be offered so that women can check for cervical cancer without visiting a GP.

Women who have delayed cervical screening will be offered a test to be taken at home, NHS England has said.

The test is for human papillomavirus (HPV), which causes most cervical cancers.

If that's detected women will be invited for further tests.
