I know of them only because I looked. Are these stories really secret or just forgotten and/or not passed down. One involves my grandparents so I stay silent for now.

On this Remembrance Day, I think of my great grand uncle James ‘Jimmy’ Gammie who died in France in 1918. His death, at the age of 23, eventually resulted in my great grandfather, Jimmy’s half brother, moving his family from Scotland to Saskatchewan in 1923 at the request of their mother. #genealogy
