As a chronically ill person who wrote an entire book based on my kafkaesque nightmare of suffering that is health care in the US, I’ll note that my book came out on Dec. 4, and warn that I’m not shutting up about this anytime soon. 💁🏻💀

Finished reading this on the plane and would highly recommend to people suffering who want to hear their experiences put into words and validated. Would not recommend for anyone triggered by the fact that privilege, and geographical location dictate the treatment one has access to.

I like my insurance better than a) no insurance b) my insurance before ACA, but I also like get punched in the face more than getting shot in the face.
