Wonder if we can use "You wouldn't use an AI girlfriend because they're obviously for losers. That's because love is something you value. Therefore, if you value research, or art, or labor, you won't use AI for those things either" as an argument when talking to our presumably married bosses

Quite a thought. It feels very true. I only got heavily back into comics after moving to a small farming town, and the amount of time I can spend with a single work is crazy long.

part of my obsession w/ comics probably has to do with my association of them with isolated people: if you are very cut off from people, having a pamphlet that has words and pictures, whether good or bad, provides something to reflect on (and build on in your mind) to a possibly limitless degree.
