Wondering still about evergreen 5x86 chips and if they’d work as same pinout as 486.

It was a good read. The 16bit isa were intriguing but no mention of any vesa bus which was the coolest tech of 486 days. Soundblaster mentioned as not reliably working as well which is disappointing but still fascinating build.

Toms hardware had a post about an fpga 486 build for doom and linux use that marries a newly made board with a 486dx2. Reminds me of that.
