Dramatic photos emerge showing the sheer scale of destruction in this week’s floods ‘Screw it, I’m getting a horse,’ one local said.

While agribusiness lobbyists celebrate Luxon's decision to never do anything to cut their climate pollution, the skies open. Climate change means more flooding - ordinary rural and urban people will cop it while agribusiness take their money and run for higher ground www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/3608...

Govt considers sidelining Climate Change Commission from emissions advice Climate Change Minister Simon Watts repeatedly denied the plan, but then confirmed it to 1News two days later.

No surprise here - the Govt of the time took great care not to embed or give meaningful power to the commission - any anti climate environment is a resource to be pillaged government coalition was going to hobble & break the commission as a reporting agency. www.1news.co.nz/2025/09/19/g...

Federated Farmers say Kiwis are 'lucky' to have 'premium' ‘grass-Fed’ butter, but neglects to mention the rainforest destruction, polluted rivers, contaminated drinking water and climate change that goes with it.

Biodiversity Credits, Stolen Land, and the Risk of Recolonising Aotearoa Offsetting justice.

Like all market-based solutions, biodiversity credits should be approached with deep suspicion unless grounded in a constitutional reckoning that begins by honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi as a binding political truth in Aotearoa.
