Oh, I most certainly am getting all my naps in - that one was on top of my favorite jacket. Mom says it's to "donate" whatever that means, and that it won't be here for too much longer. I don't want it to go away - I use it! ALL the time!

I've mostly been hiding in my room. New places give me anxiety. But I peek my head out every now and then.

Oh, it was very tasty! I loooove butterscotch, so I didn't dislike the flavor, it just wasn't what I was expecting.

Not complaining, but the salted caramel frosties at @wendys-usa.com tastes more like butterscotch. Still a great fry dip with the salty-sweet!

Top, Riviera, is a brown tabby cat, and grey tabby cat is Enzo.

These are my babies - Enzo (grey) & Riviera (brown).

Despite the time it's been, it's never easy finding the stashed remnants of the little beings you loved for nearly 17 years. I found this today while going through a box. It was his favorite. We had to keep it in the fridge at night or he'd keep us awake fighting it.

I didn't make myself cry today, and I didn't like the 800-ish words I got down.
But I got words down, and the idea is in the story. That's the important part. I can revise them later so the idea is better.

But he's not really the show-off type, so... probably just hit a rock in the trail wrong coming from a pull.

I mean, there is a possibility that there's a cute someone or another that he's showing off for...

Executive dysfunction. It's knowing the thing needs to be done, that you are capable of doing the thing, it's not even hard, and doesn't take long. But you just can't make yourself do it, even when you tell yourself you have to do it.

It might keep the solicitors at bay...

It makes me think of my mom's chicken noodle soup and how that ALWAYS makes me feel better. Even when I'm already feeling good.

I still need to figure out HOW Bobby broke the axle, though. I mean, he's an off-road tow-truck driver, so I would normally say on a trail going to/from a job, but I feel like it was something stupid.

It's okay. Everyone has their strengths. Yours is a world rich in history and lore and soooooooooo much world building. I usually forget to describe my characters beyond "he has black hair" and rooms as more than "the living room" so...

Yeah, it still threw him off when I said I could do it and bounded away. Not sure why. At least I know what he's talking about when he's listing off the parts and such.

And also, the "I could do this" was referring to both the fact that, yes, if I needed to, I could replace the rear axle, but more that now I know I can write the scene without sounding like an idiot.

Yeah, I presented it as, "My MC broke the rear axle in his Cherokee. How does he fix it?" I mean, honestly, it's something he knows how to fix, and is capable of doing it on the trail, so he's probably going to do that, though he needs to be careful, it's windy & sandy.
