i am a staunch gif supporter HOWEVER you have to source the gif yourself. you gotta be writing ffmpeg commands with palletegen/palleteuse. this is the way

my theory of why gifs are cringe has to do with the gif keyboard. by making gifs effortless it removes the interestingness signal and makes gifposting lame. since bluesky only supports gif keyboard gifs rn, that means 100% of gifs on bluesky are lame. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED
