Doesn't it strike you as strange that the people who shout long and loud that America is a Christian nation founded on Christian principles are the very people who don't want Christ's teachings of tolerance, pacifism, and generosity codified in law?

I believe that if every one of us could convince one "both sides" voter of the danger we're in, the math would change dramatically. That's my latest mission, to speak up when it's super uncomfortable and to know my stuff, to be convincing. Not diehard MAGAs, but those in the middle.

I tell people we had black boogers and eye "sleep". I can't imagine how much that impacted my little lungs. Not to mention our elementary school was built on a former city dump. Sure that was safe, right?

I fear that many more of us will find ourselves asking the same question unless we can end this nightmare soon.
