Chris nailed it. I Commented earlier on another post that basically said that you need to vote for a Dem no matter who they are because it’s better than a GOP Rep. But the political climate on the left is not that simple. We have Establishment Dems that continue to be tone deaf to maj of dem voters

Do you mind if you telling what state and district? I think part of the problem too is that it’s easy to make the general statement (any Dem is better than a GOP) but it’s too general for the local level and that is where most of the damage is done.

It’s why I am still cynical about 2028. Establishment Dems love to shoot their party in the foot when Dem voters start to trend in a “too progressive” agenda/candidate.

While this is not wrong in this 50/50 split situation, it also doesn’t completely tell the story of what’s going on within the Dem party. The same ones who push “vote blue no matter who” are the same ones dragging their feet endorsing Mamdani. Establishment Dems are also not listening to voters…
