Google for organizations in your area who are looking for lay volunteers to observe immigration proceedings or do other tasks to free up the legal staff. And be patient if you reach out, they are overwhelmed.

DOTS RPG Project is putting together a few fundraising initiatives between now and the end of the year to help fund convention travel for their volunteers so they can keep promoting accessibility in the tabletop space. There’s going to be a fundraising event in October and a TTRPG and a mtg raffle in November. The October fundraising event will welcome TTRPG and video game (and all other types of) streamers and will likely have a prize to the top fundraiser. For the November raffles, they are looking for physical TTRPG core rulebooks, dice, dice trays, minis, as well as commander decks, playing mats, deck boxes/storage, card sleeves.
