Viv is a second year PhD @ljmuofficial.bsky.social @facelabljmu.bsky.social presenting some results from her fieldwork from Bolivia. Their project aims to produce representation of ancient Bolivian faces, through participatory co-design, involving local communities in the decision making process.

We have a whole session on the overmodeled skulls tomorrow afternoon at the World Mummy Congress! Not only facial depictions, but all other scientific analysis of the remains.

The Face Lab team have produced a facial depiction of a medieval King from Portugal, and he was revealed on January 07, 2025 in the Monastery of Saint Dinis and Saint Bernard in Odivelas, Portugal, to commemorate the 700th anniversary of his death.
