Given the current situation in Palestine, let me offer some words from Frantz Fanon.

We must all remember that morality is subservient to necessity. Moralists profess a lie; that the revolt of the oppressed is a choice.

A big part of executive dysfunction is not having control over what tasks our brains focus on or for how long.

The World Ignores Palestinian Civilians. Or Worse. Gaza is a densely populated, tiny strip of land with 2 million civilians. And it's being flattened.

World leaders swiftly express their solidarity when Israeli civilians are killed.

But when Israel calls Palestinians “human animals,” silence. When Israel cuts off fuel, food, water, and medicine, silence. When the bombs fall on Gaza, silence.
