The reasons why caffeine & nicotine are legal (while cannabis isn't) are twofold:

1. Nicotine & especially caffeine are highly profitable legal drugs that can increase productivity at the workplace.

2. Criminalizing weed is an easy way to force black people into prison slavery.

I don't care if you're religious. I care if your religion drives you to do good, or if you use it to excuse exploiting and harming others.

If liberals truly wanted "equality of opportunity", they would campaign to drastically increase estate taxes and fight against the undemocratic menace we call inheritance.

Inauthenticity is a false consciousness; all you do is you.

This false consciousness is defined by the fear of what we are not, confusion about what we are, & the refusal to accept what we may become.

Saying it would be better if disabled people were never born is ableist, even if it's "because they suffer".

Replace disability with gender/race in this context & the issue becomes obvious, but eugenics is so hegemonic that most people don't even KNOW the word "ableism".

Ending with some facts. Disability comes from many causes, with many shapes. I was born with 1 kidney but got lung scarring after nearly dying to chronic pneumonia. Long COVID is an example of eugenicist policies leading to more chronic illnesses. Also if you get old you WILL become disabled.

If we (disabled) were truly valued as having equal worth relative to other human beings, societies would take every measure to improve our lives while also maximizing our autonomy (which ideally should include the right to die), but instead we suffer policies of social murder.

No disabled or chronically ill person exists whose life is not worsened by ableism. MAiD & gene-selective abortion practices are eugenicist because they shape the composition of our communities to the detriment of disabled people based on a social devaluing of their lives.
