Tbh, it was not so hard to predict. He kept telling us what he was going to do and I can’t understand anyone who was or is surprised that it actually happens the way he announced.
There were even darker statements he made (‘one bloody day’) that hopefully will not become reality.

True, but there is no natural leader among them. Vought, Miller, Vance are deeply unpopular and I don’t think that any of them can keep the movement together and get congress to keep playing dead. That is why every day we are closer to weekend at Bernie’s with the demented frail cult leader.

The legacy media will not win against the people in trying to gaslight them into fascism. They embarrass themselves here and will have lots of regrets when the fascists collapse - as they always do eventually. But the disgrace of the legacy media will remain.

I expect him to pass soon of natural causes. Then his incompetent cabinet will likely turn against each other and there will be chaos that will make the republican caucus panic and splinter.
