It started at a 6.8 on the USGS site and my Quake feed app, which is basically the USGS data.

It is is at a 7 on both the Earthquakes Canada site and USGS. Depth is now 10 km, but shallow depths are hard to model, so there still could be surface rupture. Unfortunately it is snowing heavily so likely no observations until spring. Although big landslides would be visible when storm clears.

Usually the magnitude drops after a real seismologist looks at the data. This time it went up. Maybe because it was so shallow?

Screen shot of the AI suggestion from Google for cooking a rib roast that seems to be a little wonky. It suggests searing at 450 for 15 min per pound. So for a 5 lb roast it is suggesting searing for 75 min! Wow! Hope no one follows this.

So the AI on goggle is telling me to sear the road at 450 F for 75 min!! I think it might be a little crispy fried after that, and I haven’t even started the actual roasting part!
