The squad has been regressing for a long, long time and the reasons for that pre date Poch. I’m not saying Poch is perfect and without criticism but this programs issues have little to do with him and anything he has or hasn’t done during his tenure.

People are going to say Poch doesn’t understand man management at the international level, is making a mistake etc. but the biggest issue with this generation of players is their sense of entitlement. Him and his staff seem to be having none of it which I applaud.

Their collective attitude at this point is entitled and unprofessional. It’s incredibly jarring and offensive.

Forget? That is unserious and offensively unprofessional on their part. I’ve been watching/supporting the national team since 95/96 and the inconsistency/drop off of quality from club to country is maybe the worst it’s ever been. They all need to grow up.
