Yeah I used to draw on my phone a lot. I'd say get a cheap stylus for your phone and see if that helps, it's actually made work way more manageable for me before I could save up for an upgrade. The screen size is very limiting even with the right tools and apps though yeah

The wikipedia page for mummy brown assures that "Today, mummy brown cannot be bought from any paint shop". But makes one think if there is illicit mummy paint trade going one still... The handling of human remains is highly restricted where I live, but I know what some other countries get up to ☠️

You're onto something! I got an Ipad a few months back and started experimenting more with coloring and editing in Procreate, then recently I've found a palette of paints/inks I really like and started coloring/shading with those, then tweaking the values and light in post. Really happy with results

I'm glad it resonates with people. Erotica is more all-encompassing I suppose, what I see as a problem is that it often seems like people will use it to divert from the ingrained shame they were programmed to associate with focusing "too much" on the sexual aspect of it

the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

I'm just saying, this is a frustratingly deeply ingrained issue. People who I know for a fact to be sensible folks will say that sort of thiing even though consciously they do know better

But at this point I'm just rambling I guess.

I take that back, that's still the same discussion, but exploring a different branch. Porn isn't bad. Business has terrible practices. The exact same kinds of abuse happen in every business environment. It's always an expression of a wider and more complicated issue
