Today was maybe the last chance to see short-eared owls before they head back north until next winter.

Got to see some old friends under new light at the medieval manuscripts by (electric) candlelight event put on by the Robbins Library. Really incredible to see the illumination under the flicker of warm light after years of seeing things lit up in the lab.
