I think its worth remembering that the Green Party is already a weird coalition. This is not new and long time Greens know all about it. The compromises are different but the challenge is the same.

I just don't think the argument works. The biggest liability the Greens have is "I should vote for Labour because they're more likely to win" your strategy behind with them pointing out and focusing everyone's mind on this weakness. And is worth remembering Labour constitutionally have to say no

Something to remember is the Greens have tried this kind of arrangement fir about a decade now and Labour has proven itself to be the last likely to give anything in this situation and campaigning in a seat where people think you would just step down is hard nobody wants to do that every election
