Symptomatic of right wingers that they don't have any comprehension of compassion. Eg. I hate Farage with a passion and I'm sure he would prefer me not to exist for many reasons; but if I saw him drowning I'd save him. Just as I'd help victims of oppression regardless of what they think of me.

I'm all for having a conversation about abolition but 6.5 years for attempted murder doesn't sound like much to me.
