An Riasc - an early medieval site (probably 6thC) covered in spring wildflowers on the Dingle Peninsula. The remains of a church, round houses, and probably a bronze or iron workshop are nearly hidden by the carpet of white. #Ireland #Medieval #Spring #Dingle #BlueSky

The Vicks Vaporub might work because it contains eucalyptus which is a known repellent. You can make your own spray with organic eucalyptus oil diluted with water. It's fairly effective but those little fiends have survived 100 million years by being annoyingly adaptable.

Such great photos and I love the one from the back especially because it shows all the beautiful white lichen! It seems to echo the spirals found in so many rock art examples.
