And the goal , and the fight should never be diminished by barriers that are in the way . Where some look for problems others find solutions and that’s where we all need to be .

I’ve had my complaints with Newsom over the years, but he’s handling this moment exactly right.

And Ted Cruz is throwing an absolute fit about California redistricting. 🀣🀣🀣

If there's a more substantive Dem, I don't see it. They are in hiding or something. Yes, we have vocal Dems, but none of them is taking as strong a stance as Newsom.

You can do that after he's deposed the monarch. Keep your eye on the prize or stay out of the way.

We need a leader who can ignite a fire, and Newsom is it.

Newsom: And right outside, at this exact moment, are dozens and dozens of ice agents. You think it is coincidental? Donald Trump and his minions, Tom Homan, tough guy, decided, coincidentally or not, that this was the location to advance ice arrests.

Gov Newsom has s so good at this. The GOP should be worried.

Armed Trump administration agents wearing masks just showed up outside of Gavin Newsom’s press conference.

This is what rising fascism looks like.

Newsom: "He's a failed president. Who else sends ICE at the same time we're having a conversation like this? Someone who's weak. Someone who's broken. Someone whose weakness is masquerading as strength."

Dear @MuellerSheWrote :
There is no such thing as work release in federal prison, so your reporting is false. All you had to do was ask any criminal law practitioner, and they would have explained this to you.
I wish we had work release in federal prison β€” and I wish we treated people behind bars better than we do. How about you?
I'm surprised to hear my progressive friends criticizing more humane prisons and Ghislaine's transfer to a safer facility, especially after she faced serious danger in Tallahassee. The outrage machine wants to turn a safer placement into a scandal. But it's still prison.
And despite the soundbites, prison is a truly awful place.

My response on Twitter: Hello, Mr. Markus. Here is the BOP policy that says Out Custody is eligible for work details outside prison. Will you go on record that she will not be allowed outside despite her waiver?
Also, who authorized the waiver, and in exchange for what?

The BOP policy reads: β‚½5100.08
9/12/2006
Chapter 2, Page 4
OUT CUSTODY. The second lowest custody level assigned to an inmate requiring the second lowest level of security and staff supervision. An inmate who has OUT custody may be assigned to less secure housing and may be eligible for work details outside the institution's secure perimeter with a minimum of two-hour intermittent staff supervision.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s attorney - addressing me directly - says there’s no such thing as prisoner work details outside the facility in the federal prison system. Yes there are. I have receipts.

I worked in downtown DC for over 35 years, non government, and this breaks my heart to see the occupation. But it warms my heart to see the protesters gather and try and divert and warn folks. It also made me smile to see a DC officer give the thumbs up to protesters. They hate it also.

I hope your community is never occupied like LA or DC. But if it is, you’ll quickly find that people don’t take kindly to having their city under federal control. And folks are just getting started.

so, in the course of a month, the New York Times reassigned four veteran critics, the Washington Post’s film critic took a buyout, Vanity Fair decided it doesn’t need a film critic at all, and the Associated Press got rid of book criticism altogether?

Cool.
