Did you watch it? He said that he empathized with ppl who saw him as a friend and family, and at the end he said to try to talk and understand normal ppl like neighbors feelings about what is happening in the world. Nowhere did he say we should empathize with Kirk or right wing oppressors.

I mean fair criticism but ehhh it did enough to make me get the relationship that can be expanded in future entries, but the animation, music and energy it had just made it a great fun watch. Not meant to be a ground breaking movie just and fun enjoyable watch.
