I think this is where we’ve been gaslit into thinking this. We’re a side packed full of internationals. World Cup winner, champions league minutes. Now if you’d said other top 6 teams then absolutely, but I believe we have better sides (in the most part) compared to those you mention

No worries. I thought realistically with players we’d bought to strengthen where we lacked depth, plus those coming back from injury would have us pushing European places through the league.

I agree with that about the flukey goals. But with the players we had on the pitch I’d expect a few decent shots on goal. We talk as if we have a bunch of league 2 players starting. Brazils no9 and a World Cup finalist in RKM for starters

To be fair there’s plenty of caveats why we finished 17th last season. For balance, there’s also plenty this season why we’re all getting frustrated. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect to get something from Fulham at home though?

I think what this group of players need to understand is that we’re not expecting the world. We can accept losses. What we can’t accept is them not fighting for every ball, not passing forward, not having a shot. We’re not entitled, just want to have something we can get behind. Currently we’re not

I fear that Tottenham are basically as bad right now as they were in January/February, but with less mitigation, less credit in the bank for the manager, and without the sense of shared purpose provided by the Europa League campaign.
