I'm equally cynical overall. But I cannot deny that, while much less than wished for Ukrain has been done, what has been done is not zero and it's welcome.
At the very minimum, the attack sets precedents that can be used by those willing to help to create consensus (the crux of democracy) for action

Ukrainian 427th UAS Regiment Rarog directed airstrike on Russian command post in the Chasiv Yar direction.

I doubt lots of heavy armour manouvering at the front line is a smart move. Unless you secure first the skyies from drones, which is not the case for the time being.
