Just some of the sketches done these past few days of #uskweek2025: 1&2) during @usktoronto.bsky.social meetup at SwanDive, 3) the culmination of sketchwalk along Wellington Street: Berczy Parkβs fountain, 4) linner & draw (after 3.5 hours sketchwalk, we still itched to draw) at Hot House cafe.

Given that itβs a long weekend, wasnβt expecting the huge turnout at todayβs @usktoronto.bsky.social meetup at the 401 Richmond arts hub. The skies held back the rain, making it a very pleasant day. I was craving an iced latte, and ended up at the cafeβ¦. #urbansketching

@usktoronto.bsky.social meetup at the Grand Hall of Torontoβs Union Station gave me wonderful sketcher models for drawing subjects! A bunch of us also went to dinner afterwards to help @ronaldokurita.bsky.social forget about the cold Canadian spring rain outsideβ¦

Todayβs #usktoronto outing at the Waterworks Foodhall brought us sketchers to a place with lots of delightful stuff for our eyes and tummies.
What a great turnout for the meetup, with lots of new and talented people in the crowd!

What a day for a USK Toronto meetup at the Meridian Arts Centre!
It started with a TTC warmup sketch en route to the meetup. Then, we were treated to a wonderful rehearsal performance by Orchestra Toronto.
Also bumped into musicians while having our post-meetup lunch.

This past Tuesday, cold and snowy, was a @usktoronto @romtoronto meetup. I did these sketches a few days before the meetup.
1) the Dragonfly mid section of the majestic Sagaween pole;
2) 15 minutes outlines of a great setup;
3) another try, not exactly the same, but close!

A #usktoronto meetup day of course began with heavy snowfall. I started the day trudging through slush, so why not sketch it!
Thankful for Dimsum goodness before heading to the Union Stationβs Grand Hall. I had gotten myself a new watercolour kit, it was high time to break it in.

On stage at the @therextoronto this afternoon was @tiabrazdamusic trio plus @maxsenitt on drums to make a cozy velvety jazzy vibe of a @usktoronto drawing meetup. Cold out there, but warm and comfy creative here!
