Just picked this up funnily enough. Only halfway through but "Aye, and Gomorrah," "Grandpa," and "Day of Wrath" really struck me. Also some old ones I reread: "The Comet," the Lafferty, and the Vonnegut. Not sure what makes a good one to teach though. Just listing ones I liked so far I guess lol.

[overly honest hype man]: some of these are good. some are ok. very few agree which are which. some people will hate them. some will never stop thinking about them. some will call them obvious. others call the same incomprehensible. everyone says they are right. everyone else, wrong. here you go.

This one is stylistically in line with my earlier robot drawings instead of my current cyberpunk drawings.

I wrote this story, a cyberpunk riff on Kali creation myths involving troll armies and a corporate AI deity, not long after I watched GHOST IN THE SHELL 2: INNOCENCE for the first time. Was definitely attempting to channel some of the atmosphere of the below sequence especially.

that's the way. i used to be better about putting shields up and just kind of fell off for some reason. need to get back to prophylactic blocking.
