The problem with the current moment is that we're going to have to eventually stop comparing this to Nazism because what is occurring here is increasingly an organic, native grown version of fascism, with our own variants of blood libel and designated out groups beyond just Jews.

I think Mamdani will still win the general but it's very jarring to see wealthy donors openly pontificate about how they can undermine voters in NYC by flooding funds into a spoiler candidate. It makes the whole "you get the government you vote for" line seem like total and utter bullshit.

The United States needs more immigrants because Americans aren't having enough babies.

Also, it's entirely possible Americans aren't having enough babies because too many are on social media complaining about immigrants.

PSL’s issues don’t stem from liberalism for what it’s worth. I don’t like critiquing other leftist orgs publicly as I’m a DSA member but I would be open to having this conversation privately with anyone interested.
