This party system is why voters motivated to vote against current leadership rather than *for* something **every** election cycle. This is killing the health of our country.

Yet another reason to have distaste for the two party system. I’d like to see jungle primaries in every state. Time for elected representatives to vote their consciences, rather than pander to party apparatus and worry about primary performance.

Pardons can have national impact, and there have been times that they have made sense where even superficially repulsive ones were valuable to keep the peace (Nixon is a good example) . This one and some of Trumps’ more notable ones and Clinton too are only demoralizing
