We found that profile membership predicted math test scores concurrently and longitudinally, but that profile membership did not predict STEM career aspirations at either time point.

My masters thesis is now in press at CEP! We used SEVT to explore whether math motivation profiles in 6th and 10th grade predicted math test scores and STEM career aspirations concurrently and longitudinally in a sample of Black students mostly surviving economic marginalization.
