Haven't been documenting my knitting, but I am still working on it. 3 blue panels are complete, so I've started a fourth panel in this bluegrass/lavender color. 50 of 80 rows done. I'm now 14,500 stitches into this blanket.

This has been Amira's favorite spot to sleep since the day I brought her home from the shelter. Today, I caught Yamyam sleeping in it for the first time since we took her in a few years ago. She isn't always eager to try elevated nap spots bc of her arthritis, so I'm super happy she loves it 😭

Potato soup for dinner tonight. Ground sausage, yellow onion, fresh garlic, fresh baby portobello mushrooms, so many russet potatoes, so much water, evaporated milk, frozen spinach, and half the spice cabinet. I had mine with cheese and plain yogurt (cheap sour cream substitute).

Taking a term off from school, partly so I can catch up with my Mom now that she's permanently back home, but mostly so I can enjoy a long break full of my hobbies again.

I'm knitting bc tis the season. Working towards a blanket by making a bunch of panels I'll secure to one another later.

Just realized: ESL speakers struggle with "squirrel" bc they're trying to pronounce it the way it's spelled, which looks like two syllables. Native speakers often pronounce it as a single syllable though. If you can say "world", just append "sk" to the front, remove "d" from the end. "Skworl".

I'm so grateful I'm in a tech-heavy home. Of my 3 PCs, now only ONE has a working keyboard lmao. Ordered a couple new ones, but until one gets here, I'm exclusively using the laptop for my studies. I'd die if I had to use the on-screen keyboard to write a 1500-word paper.

Btw, doing great in school. Annoyed by the responsibility of grading my peers often, but I'm performing well. Just made the President's List 😌✨ 3.92 CGPA. Sometimes I'm not totally sure why I'm doing it, but I'm way too busy to follow that train of thought anywhere bad lmao.
