www.ocfrealty.com/naked-philly... LMAO the city had to pay 80k to the monuments commission for damages to the rizzo statue. The statue will be resurrected somewhere in the city but thankfully not in a place people will be able to see it normally per the deal.

Even the article points out that this has no bases in law and if gone to court will be thrown out. Whole city is run by concerned parents on nextdoor type people.

Why they killed it is so dumb, signage limits (big ass sign out front already), the ceiling to low for a comedian but not for the restaurant(????) and the that the ZBA board thinks this guys business idea might not make him enough money so they just said no to him. What a joke.

Are there actually any historians/architects in of any of the HDs? I remember looking through one board some years ago and not finding any. Otherwise they would know historically the people built the cube for both tax and space reasons, also step backs dont match the surrounding styles.

Keeping the old building removes that weird fenced in gap which seems nice. The tapered sides that the HDs love now just doesn't look good though and idk why they HDs are trying to make builders do this to hide height. Turns a handsome building in to a weird awkward felling one.

Ya and its HOT in Italy. They often just stay indoors until it gets cooler out but someday its sweating in the shower type heat cause most house dont have AC (slowly changing). younger people tend to drink a bit more water but man the older people at most you get them drinking lemonades.

My dad is from Italy and over there they drink 0 water, so sounds about right. I'd eat at the family house and there would be no water served often. Mostly coffee booze and maybe some room temp sparkling water if people are feeling fancy. We just drink a whole lot more water here.
