How am I able to be a OBGYN resident and a mom of five? The simplest answer is my husband. He has supported and loved me through all the ups and downs of medical training. He’s cooked the dinners and made the appointments. He challenges me and encourages me to keep going even when I want to quit.

In WV News - WV GOP is now pro blind babies. They are pushing #HB3444 which will remove mandatory prophylactic antibiotic eye cream for newborns, mandatory reporting of cases, and mandatory treatment of infected infants.

Already, 1/3 of US counties are maternity care deserts. No access to birthing hospitals or OB providers.

A major concern given the already high rate of maternal mortality & poor outcomes.
