As a parent of elementary-aged kids, I can concur that this seems accurate. Last week included a worksheet on invertebrates, a reading about chlorophyll, and some activity about spitting cobras... (I guess comparatively those are somewhat related, though. :) )

I'm curious, as we limit student phone use in schools (a good thing, I think), how do we balance that with the fact that we've taught them to use their phone calendars to navigate their complex daily schedules? How might we support students who need to know where to be, but don't have phone access?
