I was 10 when '2001 A Space Odyssey' was released. I watched it in awe. Khachaturian's music blew me away (though I didn't know anything about him at the time).

A few years ago, I had some spare time in a studio, and recorded this short piece - a thank you to him.

Our 'sitting in the loch' Russian oligarch yacht has been sending the helicopter up. Probably for fun, though my other half is convinced it's more interested in the naval military base near Applecross. Here it is coming back into land.

I've just become Schrödinger's cat. Been told will have no electricity until Thursday night (a pylon down in Skye), so I thought I'd check how much data on phone.

I phone/text to check and am told my number doesn't exist. Yet I get phone calls. I exist and yet I do not. I'm both alive and ...dead.
