I think these are the most important panels to understand Orion's character. He loathes war, he loathes violence, he loathes himself for bringing it near individuals he considers pure. Jack Kirby, the masterful writer that you were.

He doesn't know what normal human emotion is. Even when the man he considers to be his best friend is going through the ringer mentally, he has to turn to someone else to really begin to understand how bad and out of character it is. I love Deadshot so much. He's also cool guy with guns

I hope y'all know I fw Deadshot in the "he's so cold and probably has ASPD, he needs so much help and I hope he gets fucked up and dirty" way and not the "he's so COLD and EMOTIONLESS" way bc he's a very turbulent character who really despises his lack of feelings towards things. The suit is a modification of his post crisis suit. It reminds me a bit of this old Catman suit because of the lighter abdomen and chest, and of course the pants!

The GLOVES! The claws are my favourite part about his new 52 design and I'm glad to see them again! Much cooler this time too now that they're iron colored and not dyed brown

The cape seems to be somewhat inspired by his New 52 leather jacket (at first I thought it was a big coat). It's a damn cool cape!

THE COWL! The cowl seems to be directly inspired by Catman's first appearance in detective comics #311 1962! The ears and eyes are very similar
