There's always been this idea that turn based rpgs, and RTSs and other sidelined genres stopped selling as well. But i think what actually happened is they were only selling worse relative to the boom of action games. In reality they sold as well as they always did.

utilizing social media will obviously help in this case since youtube isn't. Also you're subscribers are more likely a detriment than a help. If subs aren't watching it won't go to new viewers but if only subs are watching it won't go to new viewers.

oohhhhh ya no that is much more difficult to solve. It used to be a "bad" video would just get cordoned off by the algorithm. but usually in this case you need a new video to break through to new viewers. Basically something overtly clickbait. If you're in creator jail this is a nightmare to do.

outside of just waiting the only option is to find something else that will flood your feed, the shorter the type of content the quicker you can replace it with. Anime clips are pretty effective.

If you want it to go back to normal though you just have to keep using it as normal until it gives up

Sometimes you a mesh is not salvagable and you just have to trash it and start again, and that's okay.
