So I do a power cycle, unplug from wall, unplug the cooler, etc. Nothing.

What fixes it (until I power cycle again)? crashing icue (Nvidia driver install, task manager kill). @corsair.com, ideas to try?

Finally got this sickness out of my system. Now I can get back to playing other games I will enjoy. And maybe streaming some of them lol

Realized I never took a photo of the refreshed PC with the new pumps. Today I got off my lazy butt and got the last lights plugged in, so here it is!

... Now on to the task of rebuilding my obs scenes for streaming again.....

Decided a Windows Refresh would do some good for the PC as well as the hardware coolant refresh. Guess who just did a Windows Refresh without backing things up!

Setting up ALL my software again. Hooray!

Back online and running better than ever! Pretty awesome to see your GPU eek out an extra few % on a stress test while keeping 40C cooler (yes it actually dropped from 105C to 65C peak testing lol).

Later today I'll have to test it with a game, and if all goes well I'll be back to streaming soon!

@corsair.com did the formula for purple change? Love the electric pink but it's definitely not what I expected from a fresh bottle off the shelf. Top reservoir: fresh poured from a 1yr old coolant bottle, bottom reservoir & squirt bottle: brand new coolant

PC update: more putty came in, and I think the operation was a success. Feel like a frosted a cake with this thing's insides. Any tech minded people know if this looks good? Too much, too little?

I think the setup for John Wick went something like this

Current case status. CPU Loop purged & flushed, new pumps in place, and a need for a new cut pipe and fitting. Oh also need the GPU, 2ns radiator, and all it's tasty goo put back in. Tomorrow!

Today the PC draining and repasting began. Trying thermal putty instead of strips of thermal pad, learned there's not nearly enough putty in one container for my card lol. So here's a shot of G, P, and U side by side instead of sandwiched together like you're used to seeing

a hastily assembled tennis racket head attached to the master sword handle, hitting an energy ball, slapped together in MS paint using google image search to find the three things to combine (poorly) into one absolutely dogshit terrible idea.

A friend is looking for some Ocarina of Time inspired tattoo ideas. This was my submission. I think I did pretty good for a MS Paint artist
