I tried reading this as the Theme to Shaft at first. Once I hit that third line, all I could hear was Reba.

It's so hot I just saw some garlic take off all it's cloves.

This has long been my stance. The spandex and long underwear crowd are often many people's first introduction to comics, and it's not their cup of tea.

I try to find out what they're interested in, and then make suggestions accordingly. My one goto every time though is Bone by Jeff Smith.

Somebody said we need to stop calling it "Aligator Alcatraz" and start calling it the Dade-Collier Immigrant Detention Camp. Really draw attention to the area, shine a light on that section of Florida.

Normally, I try to keep my politics out of bluesky, because I'm just a big wuss, and prefer talking comics.

However, the local (GJ) university is hosting a white supremacist this Thursday. Please get the word out, and show them that Fascism and intolerance is not ok.
