Daouda Peeters went from playing for Juventus, to being paralyzed from the waist down due to a rare neurological condition, to getting back on the field with the Las Vegas Lights of the USL-Championship. He spoke to ESPN about his long journey back.

FT: #usmnt 1-1 Ecuador. Deserved result for the U.S., and could have gotten more. A real moment of quality saw the U.S. equalize through Balogun, and overall I thought the home side won more of those little battles that they were losing in the first half. They'll need those at the World Cup.
