There’s a perfectly good pillow right there my dude…

I don’t have any particular comment just… hey. You’re killing it. Keep doing your thing. 💜
@ellearmageddon.bsky.social I had a sudden realization today that I’ve been following your various exploits for like 12 years now.
Life is weird.
I just came from at art show at my kid’s high school.
There was a large amount of art dealing with the fear of being shot to death at school.
So, that’s how we’re doing, folks.
Empathy. Mine also seems to have perfected the art of waking me up to remind me that I’ll need to wake up in a couple hours.

There is a one hour video of red pandas eating crunchy snacks on the Oregon Zoo’s YouTube channel.

Hey remember when the front page of Kickstarter always listed a dude who thought he had a pretty good chance of getting The Kinks back together?

20.05.2023 21:58 — 👍 27 🔁 11 💬 1 📌 0It can be a tough step, to be sure.
How much are you trying to raise?
Much of what I’ve seen in the realm of funding for OSS humanitarian aid projects comes from the philanthropic funding orgs. How much exploraient have you done with grant writing?

Hey you.
19.05.2023 02:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I’ve been driving myself deep into the intersection of funding and open source sustainability, specifically on a quest to change the ways companies support their open source infrastructure. Most corps who write checks for OSS write small ones compared to their revenue. I want to change that.

Every day, I get a little closer to my Final Form.
Because I have a weirdly different group of followers here than anywhere else (hi!) :
I’m looking for a new role where I can take bigger risks, lead a diverse organization, write bigger checks for open source, and build partnerships.

I was going to play Invisible Sun but instead I’m going to drink cider and play pinball until I reboot.

Hi friends.
I am going to use the hell out of the phrase "critical human infrastructure" (crediting Duane, of course) because we don't prioritize the humans in open source nearly enough.
