I was speaking with an elected official last night who despondently had resigned themselves to the idea that KLB's nomination was a fait accompli.

We cannot let this happen. Esteves, Duncan, and Thurmond can and probably will win. She will lose.

Moreover she would be a terrible governor.

She was the only progressive in the Democratic primary (of note at least) and the former, weak one-term mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms is leading the polls now.

She will likely lose in November.

In a year that should favor them, Dems are likely to blow it.
