Ironically, C0de's comment about it is a really good example of their continual Lying by omission.

You didn't get a response from the torinyan staff but a community member, and it wasn't what torinyan was claiming, but convenient of C0de to forget that.

Yep, unfortunately what you got told isn't really the view torinyan have been saying. They've been falsely accusing polybunny of out and out stealing the concept for Runa.

If you want to see, give "plagiarism" a search.

I have to encourage you to not do that.

As much as I obviously have an issue with them I don't think engaging with them in any way like rust is helpful, and you'll just get yourself banned.

Beyond that, it's best to pointedly not encourage what they'll see as hate raiding.

Of course it goes without saying that nobody should harass Torinyan, C0de, R00t or anyone else due to this.

Personally, I just want people to know how this creator treats their community, their supporters, and their compettition.

Over all of this, all I can really say is I wish this absolute shit could stop.
It's just lies, slander, and twisting of the truth from one of the larger creators in this space.

Hopefully, this will all blow over soon and we can get back to working on cool VRChat things.

Sadly, this is barely an overview of the true depth of drama on display.

I truly don't think it will be long until this nonsense backfires on @vrchat.com, with some Exposé video or something, since this is a creator they endorse officially with their avatars on the #VRChat marketing material.

This is very unfortunate as Factori was a cool hangout space, and despite her views on things, I wish R00t luck with Factori and all her future endevours. R00t has only ever been a wonderful bean and I can only wish things had gone differently.

Although it happened in a private discord server so I won't share specifics, R00t has specifically stated that #Factori and Torinyan are intrinsicly linked. To quote: "Like there is also no way and reason to separate things."

Torinyan has also recently claimed that Nradiowave never allows use of their work, and have banned people for pointing out that this is false (images linked).

I have been asked not to share details, but have seen the things HawtsuneMiku mentioned and can confirm what he has said is correct.

Torinyan and C0de have been publicly suggesting that this avatar is plagiarising Runa, despite the falsehood of that statement.
Torinyan have continued to claim that Polybunny did not get @nradiowave.bsky.social's permission to make this avatar (which they didn't reference).

Torinyan and C0de are extremely upset about the announcement of Nene. Despite being offered a preview so they could talk about it as they wanted to share the robot girl space amicably.
(Polybunny have said they would've delayed the announcement had C0de asked them to. C0de did not respond at all.)

This is the ONLY time these two have been compared, in unity as this image was made to highlight that they are not the same (Due to the backlash from Torinyan).

Polybunny have now announced their own original avatar base, Nene.

This is clearly a robot girl in the same vein as Runa, but is an entirely original creation that did not use Runa or Nradiowave's work as reference at all.
(I know this because i saw much of it's creation as it was happening)

They also claimed that it was unacceptable that the update did not meet the new method of lighting on Torinyan avatars (the one only used on Shoggoth, released 1 week before this was completed).

This was never in the original agreement.

Polybunny let this go, not wanting to sour their relationship

After months of free work, C0de, and their new QA tester were extremely rude and dismissive of the effort put in and rejected the Polybunny update to Tetsuko, essentially tanking any chance of a Tetsuko revival.
This took the form of claiming that they did not ever test their work (this is false)

Over the last 6 months or so Zheran and Noontide of @polybunny.bsky.social have been working on an update for Tetsuko, one of Torinyan's older avatars. This update was done for free, after being agreed upon by both Polybunny and C0de.

This is not atypical behaviour of the Torinyan discord, as they have had issues with people posting Bestiality before.
They have also regularly host large Group instances "NSFW" meets, which generally tend to involve a *lot* of ERP.

@cutedeth.bsky.social's post was very cordial but commented on an issue they had with someone posting NSFW content of underage characters in one of the Lewd channels, and another community member having an issue with that and spamming more.

Until recently, while more people were being banned, this was where things were left to lie. Linked are a few images of ban warnings messages of long-time community members. Rayray did not say these things, and @cutedeth.bsky.social's "drama" was a short single post on here saying she'd left.

As all of this was settling down, @shader.dog was aproached by Torinyan and asked to take down an edited version of Torinyan's edit of the Lava Lamp shader that he had made (under an MIT lisence). This was explicitly because of his comments on my last post about this nonsense.

There is a LOT more but Runya has asked me not to bring it up as she would rather just move on with her life, something I can only agree with.
As a proffesional in this space this is simply the only logical corse of action.

Runya was accused of hosting the Yargiemeet last month on the same day that R00t was hosting their first Torimeet.
1. This was my event, not Runi's. She is just a member of my community.
2. This event was at that time because it is convenient.
3. Yargiemeet started 2 hours earlier.

Firstly, Runya has been let go from her position, and after stepping down quietly and as peacefully as she could she was publicly slandered by C0de in a long post in the Announcements channel. The post was filled with lies and slander about Runya.

For existance, my Yargiemeet was attributed to her.

On to the new stuff:
- Runya has now been let go, and banned from the Torinyan server
- Torinyan rejected over 6 months of free work that was done for them by Polybunny
- Torinyan has continued to ban people for no reason
- Torinyan is very upset over Nene's announcement and is slandering Polybunny

After this, a number of other well known members of the community (including asset creators) were removed from the torinyan discord including @mayonassey.bsky.social, who was asleep at the time.

This is about where I made a post about this last time, but it's somehow gotten worse.

In response to this, I posted my own timeline of events, one that technically both sides had agreed upon, and was banned for it. A few others clearly agreed that this is what happened (Image linked).

Torinyan then spent hours trying to slander me and my store in "Banned-Warnings" (image linked).

Oddy did not respond to this for not wanting to cause drama, until someone in Freetalk asked why people were beginning to hate on Torinyan (based on what Torinyan was saying). Oddy simply corrected this and was immediately banned.

Torinyan deliberately wound people up in his discord about this, before admitting he was attempting to prove to C0de that there were hate raids.

He then spent the rest of the day, well into the next morning slandering Oddy in announcement channels as well as in the Freetalk channel.
